Save comes inward towards the attached garage roof. This eave is not capped so the water trickles down the roof from that spot into the garage eave. Garage eave then becomes overloaded and we see pretty heavy leaking during a snow melt or heavy rain causing pretty bad ice patches and beginning to heave our walkway. The only downspout for the north slope of the house cannot handle the amount of water coming down.
