We provide FREE opportunities for businesses to generate work. Businesses are able to view projects and quote user projects for FREE. Businesses only pay a FIX IT UP fee if they are chosen by the user for the project. Every category is customizable for each business meaning you control what projects you want to view.

WHAT IS FIX IT UP?

FIX IT UP is a quoting software that pairs users to businesses in the same area. When looking for a quote Users post projects on FIX IT UP in various categories such as plumbing, autobody, insurance, etc. There is a category for every business as FIX IT UP currently has 220+ categories. Businesses that are signed up receive the project details via email and they have an opportunity to submit a quote to the user. The user then decides which quote they will choose and the chosen business pays a FIX IT UP fee for the lead.

WHY WAS FIX IT UP CREATED?

FIX IT UP was created by Brad Fekula and Dwayne Melcher for users to find a convenient and reliable way to save time and money when looking for a quote. As business owners we know that time is of the essence, so we created the FIX IT UP software to help ensure users get the best deal available in a timely fashion. With this idea in mind, we feel this process will revolutionize the way quotes are provided. The “Compare Quotes and Save” motto will save users money while rewarding jobs to the most qualified businesses.

Step 1

  • Using a Phone, Tablet, or Computer,
    • Users select the category related to their project.
    • They then provide details and photos for their project using our customized category templates.
    • Once completed the user posts their project for businesses to bid on.

Step 2

  • Businesses receive an email about a new posted project.
  • Businesses have 72 hours to complete a detailed quote that is sent back to the user.
  • If an inspection is needed for the quote to be official, it can be outlined in the details.

Step 3

  • Users review and compare quotes based on price, location, estimated timelines, business ratings, and reviews.
  • Based on this information, they have the ability to choose the bid that best suits their needs.

Step 4

  • The chosen business will receive a notification via Text that they have been selected for the project.
  • The businesses will be required to pay a FIX IT UP fee of $5 - $40 based on their category. (Your first month is 50% off)
  • Upon successful payment the users contact information will be forwarded to the business.
  • It is then up to the business to contact the user to view the project, finalize a quote and carry out the project.

EMERGENCY SERVICES

FIX IT UP software also has the ability for businesses to "Turn On" for emergency services that are needed outside of normal business hours. This gives users the ability to contact your business via phone number at any hours of the day that you would like to be available for emergency work if it applies to your business. There is no charge to the business to be turned on; the cost is always on the user which is either $5 or a FIX IT UP token. Users will then have access to all of the available phone numbers of the businesses turned on for emergency services.

FIX IT UP PARTNERING WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES

Has your company ever thought about having its own software for quoting projects? FIX IT UP provides a personal URL for businesses that can be marketed to generate leads. This URL link takes customers to your FIX IT UP category template that displays your logo. These leads are then emailed directly back to your company email. Currently, over the COVID-19 period, FIX IT UP is offering this service for free as we hope to further our partnership with local companies.
